Dragonfly Tea

Dragonfly Tea approached the Alexir Partnership to create a limited-edition tea carton for their collaboration with JARV IS… frontman Jarvis Cocker.

Brief

The brief presented to the Alexir Partnership outlined that the tea carton needed to be recyclable and feature specially designed artwork already created by Jarvis Cocker’s team together with Dragonfly Tea. Jarvis Cocker is an English musician, actor and BBC 6 Music presenter who happens to be a Dragonfly Tea lover. To celebrate the release of JARV IS’s celebrated new album ‘Beyond the Pale’, the team at Dragonfly created a bespoke infusion called ‘JARV IS… Peppermint Jungle’, inspired by a lyric in one of his songs.

Challenges

The Alexir Partnership has produced numerous tea cartons for Dragonfly Tea and therefore, have a good understanding of what Dragonfly Tea require. This meant that the one-off promotion was completed without any problems. Our Litho department printed many thousand tea cartons that were delivered on time.

Results

The tea cartons were a hit with both Dragonfly Tea and Jarvis Cocker commenting that they looked fantastic. The limited-edition is currently being sold on the Dragonfly Tea website, as well as on the record label Rough Trade’s webstore.
