alexipack® was launched in 2008 for a major retailer’s Healthy Living ready meal range. The board permits the trays to be dual ovenable, enabling them to hold strong even while heated. It is a proven product with no quality issues (over 11 million units sold) and is approved by most of the major retailers and airline catering companies. Developed by the Alexir Partnership, the alexipack ® is a patented tray, of which over 75% is made from a sustainable resource and when compared to existing packaging formats, offers a 35% weight reduction. Its design allows full direct branding, removing the cost of labels, u-cards, printed films and printed sleeves.
