The Prosecco handbag flew off the shelves last Christmas.
The Christmas Prosecco handbag, containing the iconic Freixenet bottle and gold-wrapped chocolates, was a project that spanned three arms of our business and was overseen by another. It involved the expertise of our Creative team as well as carton manufacturing and contract packing. The project management was headed up by the Alexir Gifting team.
The contents of the handbag were heavy and fragile, so the carton engineering was key from the outset. The final sleek and stylish design of the handbag from the Creative team worked perfectly in tandem with the practicalities of transportation and merchandising. The luxury look and feel of the gift involved a plethora of premium print finishes including embossing, spot UV and foiling. The handbag was finished off with bespoke hand-tied ribbons sourced from the Far East.
The beautiful handbag, and its contents formed part of the Christmas Gifting collection for one of our customers. Not only did it increase sales but the proactive approach from all of our divisions further enhanced our reputation with the customer.
