Case Study:
Rhythm KeFir

We recently worked with a new and exciting brand called Rhythm Health who have secured several listings of their premium product in a number of high-end retailers and hotel chains.

Carefully Considered.

It is widely recognised that the set-up costs using general lithography printing makes short-runs of carton printing a cost-prohibitive exercise and is generally out-of-reach to many brand owners. Digital printing for folding box board is ideal to bridge the gap between conventional printing methods and short-run specialist printing. Due to the specialist nature of their products the brand owners were struggling to find a packaging solution that not only reflected the premium characteristics of the product but would also protect and house the glass bottles.

Understanding Requirements.

Alexir Digital, as part of the Alexir Partnership, worked with Rhythm to design a carton that would succeed in both protecting and promoting the products. The carton was printed on 505 micron Invercote G, which was specially bought for the project, and silver foil-blocked conveying a quality look and feel. It was also one of the first jobs to be cut and creased on the new state-of-the art KAMA cutter, making Alexir Digital the first major carton-converter to offer an inline digital solution to their customers.

Results.

Rhythm Health Partner, Paul Kinder said “From the initial discussion to the final product was a seamless transition. Alexir Digital took the brief and within a matter of days we were looking at a sample of what would be the finished article. With their professional expertise and flair, Alexir Digital completed the packaging (considering it was a complicated 4 stage process) in a timely and expert manner, producing a product that was infinitely better than we had imagined. We have recommended Alexir to all our contacts and will continue to do so.”
