Alexir maintains BRC grade AA Accreditation again

We are proud to announce that Alexir Packaging, the carton-converting division of the Alexir Partnership, has maintained their AA grade BRC  accreditation for the third consecutive year.

Reassurances of quality, safety and legality.

The BRC Global Standard for Packaging Materials certification is viewed as a benchmark of quality, safety and legality and has been recognised and adopted by retailers, manufacturers and packaging businesses worldwide. Maintaining these standards exhibit that Alexir Packaging continue to demonstrate that they are compliant with the latest BRC issues regarding food safety, management systems, manufacturing and quality management practices.

The impact of Covid.

There is no doubt that this last year has been especially difficult due to Covid with the impact of safety restrictions and staff absences. It has also been an incredibly busy year with the installation of a new printing press, the extra capacity from this and the packaging surge from panic-buying. Given all these factors at play, maintaining the grade AA is an incredible achievement.

At our sister site in Sussex, where Alexir blend, pack and collate dried foods, the production facilities also have BRC grade AA food accreditation.

Ashleigh Pyatt, QA Manager at Alexir Packaging says:

“We are delighted to maintain the AA grade in the BRC Accreditation for the third year. To maintain this accreditation requires commitment at all levels of the business from the Managing Director to the factory floor operators, showing that our team always strives for the very best in everything we do. Customers can be assured that we work hard to exceed the benchmark for quality, safety and legality. Well done to all the team involved.”

Sharing is Caring.
