BRC: Alexir achieve coveted BRC grade AA Accreditation

The BRC Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials certification is viewed as a benchmark of quality, safety and legality and has been recognised and adopted by retailers, manufacturers and packaging businesses worldwide.

Commitment at all levels.

Alexir Packaging, the carton- converting division of the Alexir Partnership, is pleased to announce that its manufacturing facilities in Kent has achieved an AA grade BRC (British Retail Consortium). The audit lasted for two days and looked at everything from goods-in to despatch, artwork to finished product as well as examining all policies and procedures. It requires commitment at all levels of the business from the Managing Director to the factory floor operators. It included both the lithographic and digital production of cartons, as well as the workflow processes.

Necessary reassurances.

With this standard Alexir Packaging can demonstrate that it is compliant with the latest issue 5 of the standard for Packaging and Packing Materials including food safety, management systems, manufacturing and quality management practices. Consequently, the packaging site is able to offer all its customers, and potential customers, the necessary reassurances in respect to carton manufacture.

Ashleigh Pyatt, QA Manager at Alexir Packaging says

“We are delighted to receive the AA grade in the BRC Accreditation. It has always been important to us to strive for the very best in everything we do. We are pleased that we can give all our customers a deep-seated confidence in our work and our facilities. Well done to all the team involved.”

Sharing is Caring.
