Packaging Chopstix for retail success.

The challenge

Chopstix had already built a strong brand but wanted to take their flavour-packed noodle range into mainstream retail. Alexir Partnership was engaged to help develop products that could hold up at scale, create packaging that worked across multiple formats including multipack, and configure a production line that could deliver quickly and consistently.

The solution

Alexir worked in partnership with Chopstix, bringing both product and packaging together as a complete proposition.

The Alexir International team sourced, printed and supplied all packaging elements, including pots, sleeves, foil lids and corrugated hood and tray, managing the process from end to end. Trials were run to confirm the product was fit for purpose and to ensure the range was ready for retail conditions.

With Alexir International supporting sourcing and Alexir Co-Pack enabling production readiness, the project moved from concept to shelf with a joined-up, practical approach.

The result

The resulting five-SKU range includes Firecracker, K-Pop BBQ, Katsu Curry, Salt and Pepper, and Sweet and Sour – designed to carry the Chopstix brand into a new space.

The range successfully launched on Amazon and in Co-op, followed by a rollout into Asda and more to come. The project supports Chopstix’s wider brand strategy to expand into mainstream retail, using familiar flavours to enter new categories. With a scalable production line in place and more products in development, the foundation is set for continued growth.

The range has also been selected for the Product Spotlight at the Private Label Manufacturers Association conference, helping to increase visibility with buyers and retailers across the market.
