Pan-European NPD launch
From CAD designs to Distribution Centre delivery, Alexir Partnership came up with the goods.
The challenge
Amoy sought to launch a new pan-Asian cooking brand. It would require pack design, ingredients sourcing, pack build, co-packing and the smooth navigation of a post-Brexit supply chain to deliver this major launch to market.

The solution
Alexir made use of multiple in-house divisions to bring this project together with agility and skill. Working hand in hand with the client, we devised well-executed solutions for many components in the new meal kits, supplying packaging, sourcing rice and noodles internationally and co-packing.
Working from a brief, CAD designers in Alexir Creative designed and sampled the outer cartons on a folding box board and FFS pouches for early retailer engagement.
Once feedback was received, the range of 4 kits required us to put a flexible print campaign together at Alexir Packaging, and use the full suite of colours and spot varnishes to lift specific brand queues.
Using the network of food industry contacts, Alexir Co-Packing helped source noodles and a sticky rice that supported the portfolio that Amoy wanted to take to market.
Importantly, Amoy asked Alexir Co Pack to run their pan-European supply chain, landing food goods from 3 mainland European countries, while navigating post Brexit legislation.
Lastly, Alexir delivered to Amoy’s National Distribution Centre prior to them distributing to retailers.
The result
Working across multiple divisions of Alexir Partnership allowed us to roll out this new product development at a rapid pace and without any of the typical barriers that can occur without a turnkey solution. The final product has now been rolled into Europe for some key leading Benelux retailers in addition to the UK.
